"Another great visit to HBR. The staff was once again great. There weren’t as many people in both HBR and the larger neighboring properties, but there still was a nice amount of activities and entertainment, and the people (some usuals, some new folks) were lovely and good fun. The spa staff was once again great on HBR’s Sunday afternoon spa takeover which was fun as usual. The food was good, and the restaurants on the larger property once again offered nice choices. They also had a new wine selection which had some nice additions. Unfortunately, the beach had sargassum which caused a bad odor, but the hotel was clearing it as well as possible, and the sargassum itself is beyond their control. All in all, a lot of fun and worth the visit. Indeed, we plan on returning at the end of the year."

"This is our third time coming to Barcelo we always stay in the Caribe since it’s close to everything. Service is always excellent-this visit Carolina took extra good care of us at the breakfast buffet. I will say we still loved it, place might need a few things fixed here and there more so in the restrooms in public spaces. I would recommend this place to anyone"

"We were never informed that the property we booked, Seaside Suites, was closed down for remodeling. We only found out from the Lomas Travel driver as we were headed to the property. We did receive a “Resort” credit for certain things, but couldn’t use it on exactly what you wanted, so it still cost you for things, basically it took 50% off things. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Palms side is quiet, and reserved. We wanted Suites Side for the Party atmosphere. Storm had come in recently, so seaweed was a bummer. They were trying to clean it up, but there was a lot."
