The Kensington Hideaway

"We stayed at this new hotel (about 3 months since opening) for 1 night. Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The decor is unique and interesting, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The room we had was on a side street just off Kensington High Street. The room was quiet and dark. It also had air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The hotel itself is located about a brisk 15-minute walk to the Royal Albert Hall and about 20 minutes to the big museums. All in all, a very pleasant stay at a fantastic, conveniently located hotel."

"It's a bit of a shame that they put so much effort to add those little touches to feel like the place has everything you need but fir that toilet in the corner that is not suitable for most normal sizes people, what were you guys thinking? Also it's unfortunate that I ended up in one of the hottest days of the year because that room was boiling. Everything else was fine but those two are major red flags."

"Nice hotel. Too far from underground station. Do not use Olympia, it’s unreliable. Room was far too small. One double bed and that’s it. Dry right to walk around it. TV had only two working channels. Overhead shower did not work. Shower water went everywhere due to the ill thought out design of the shower. No safe in the room for valuables. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. No orange juice!! Good VFM for a west end hotel. Quite location. Just be ready for a mile hike from Kensington High Street tube station."
