“The room was spotless beautifully furnished. We had endless tea, coffee milk and biscuits. The staff could not have been more helpful nothing was too much trouble The restaurant and bar was clean and very comfortable. The food was fabulous, well prepared. Added to all this you have a very large car park Would recommend this hotel and give it 10/10.”

“Had a great stay, room 1 was fantastic. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and a sofa was a bonus. Great bath, one thing to note may be the addition of a shower curtain, we managed to soak the floor every time we used it. Water and orange juice was a nice touch and filtered coffee was tasty. We did feel the stairs were very deep and the additional of another hand rail may be something to consider. Lovely dark room and we slept so well. Breakfast was great, nice to see all local and home grown...

“We really enjoyed our stay at The George. It was authentic, absolutely clean as a whistle and the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. It is an authentic old inn so there were some creaky floors but it fine for us. The staff and the food were amazing. I would stay here again.”
