"Our second stay at Secrets and it was better than the last. The staff was very accommodating and nice. The room had all the amenities we could ask for with a nice shower, two big TVs, safe, fridge (completely stocked), and a nice bed. The only problem we had with the room was a few times the door lock had issues. One evening it even stopped working and the maintenance staff took 70 minutes to get us into the room. They literally drilled a hole in the door and used a screwdriver to manipulate the door handle from the inside to open the door. Once they replaced the electronics we didn't have another problem with it for the rest of the stay. We did receive a nice collection of mosquito bites waiting for the door to be opened. I finally asked the stay if they had some Off spray and they provided a few small bottles of natural spray which was nice of them. The gym was nice enough. The pier is always a nice little walk, and provides a good swim option. The food was great with a pretty good selection in the buffet. Pools were clean and the swim up bar was good. We did a few days of SCUBA diving with the resident dive shop called "Dive House" and they are top notch. Great dives, great dive masters, boats were clean, super friendly and attentive crews! Highly recommend them. Overall, service was great, resort and amenities are good for the price, and you'll get the normal up-sale approaches, but we enjoyed our stay."
