"The river jump room pictures listed on the post was no way related to the room I was given. The pictures were for Phase 1 and I was given a room in Phase 2 with a walk down into the river but no way we could have jumped into the river as we thought per our booking. I submitted reservations to numerous restaurants a month prior through the email/form process and every time we went to our reservation, the information was wrong and booked for 2 or 3 people when we were a party of 4. When we attempted to correct this, it was made to seem like we did it wrong, but I had the email confirmation showing the hotel booked me for 4 people at each one and listed it as “confirmed.” The food was the same every single day in the buffets. There was no variety or changes. The slides were open and available but have way to many restrictions to be able to slide down."

"We stayed in a Garden View room. On our first night around 10 PM, the AC began leaking in our room in Building 5, and we had to be transferred to Building 4. It was frustrating having to walk back, pack everything up, and switch rooms that late at night. A bellhop to assist us immediately would have been appreciated, and I was hoping the resort might offer some type of upgrade or gesture for the inconvenience, but that wasn’t provided. That said, the hospitality and service from the staff were excellent, and the food was outstanding. If you’re looking for a resort that actually feels like Mexico, this place delivers. Unlike some of the large concrete-style resorts, the property feels vibrant, tropical, and full of character, especially with the wildlife throughout the grounds. The lazy river and pool areas were a highlight. The waterfalls, bridges, and overall design make the resort feel unique and relaxing. The drinks were decent, though nothing particularly memorable. The Don Julio bar was a standout, especially for the martinis. Food was easily a 10/10. The buffet was average compared to the specialty restaurants, but still good. Overall, I wouldn’t necessarily return every year, but it’s definitely a resort I’d recommend experiencing at least once and would consider visiting again in the future."
