Step off the street hustle & bustle into quiet serenity. Very friendly staff who make you feel personally welcome to be there. Clean and well maintained & excellent location.
Breakfast on the roof is an unexpected treat for the view of the city. Un-rushed atmosphere in the spa & a relaxing and warm pool to unwind in after a massage.

Wonderful staff and thoughtful service
What stood out most about our stay at May De Ville Lumiere was the excellent service. The staff were warm, attentive and proactive in helping us throughout our stay. When we had an early bus and couldn’t stay for breakfast, they thoughtfully packed food for us to take away. We really appreciated that extra care.
The room felt a little smaller than we had expected, but to be fair, the size in square metres was clearly listed on Expedia before we booked, so...

We booked the owner's suite and I used the external room as my YouTube editing studio. I like the fruit provided and I liked the private Terrace.
The morning buffet was excellent - so many options.
The staff was very attentive and assisted us with a Cyclo tour in the Old Quarter which included Train Street.
We were on a Pre-Paid Ha Long Bay cruise and this hotel was recommended to stay and was the pick up point.
I enjoyed our stay here and the Red Bean restaurant was extremely good. I would...

Meritel Hanoi is a beautiful hotel, with top notch service. However, the air conditioning kept going out in our room though the staff was quick to get it up and running again every time it went out. We also experienced ants in our sink, but again the staff was very prompt in getting it fixed. The Meritel advertises that it has soundproofed rooms, but this is not the case. You will be able to hear the room next to you as well as the city outside (thought it is very quiet at night so as long as...
