"We went there for our anniversary and for a birthday. We had the most amazing time ever the food was spectacular. The grounds were immaculate. The rooms were beautiful. It was one of the best trips that we have ever went on. It does get a little quiet towards the end of the night, but it didn’t bother us at all because we hung out by the pool and the pool there’s always something to do there was a DJ and a lot of entertainment."

"This is a fantastic, large hotel with everything a family needs to have fun. The food quality is amazing with excellent menu variety. Best of all, the staff makes sure your stay is truly unforgettable. Highly recommended—we will definitely be back!"

"The property is nice. This time of year the beach is inaccessible. There were several things we needed or asked for and it seems the general answer was by default, no. The food was overall not as good as other places in the same category I’ve been. The formal dress code for dinner I wasn’t aware of until I arrived, and then was conveniently funneled into the gift shop with plenty of pants and shoes to purchase for men who didn’t show up with them. The staff was very friendly. Plenty of parties if that’s your thing. I won’t go back."

"Only thing i didnt like was theres only room service if your elite and YOU GOTTA BEG FOR THEM TO GIVE U A RIDE TO YOUR ROOM IN THE CARTS ( theres little at least 30-50 carts!) my room was located at the furthest end of the resort... its a good 15 minute walk to the lobby and IT TURNS INTO A HORRIBLE ONE WHEN YOU HAVE SO MUCH HEAVY LUGGAGE"

Hotel Riu Palace Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

"We had a great visit at the Riu Palace. We traveled with friends and took advantage of the free transportation to and from the airport. The hotel is just as beautiful as when we were there 18 months ago. Even though the beach was full of sargassum the pools had enough seating for everyone. Food was fantastic although I missed being able to have pastor tacos every day. Service is great and the piano player in the lobby is a special touch. Rooms are well appointed. I love how I don’t feel nickel and dimed at every corner at this resort. The staff feels generous, which is refreshing. Will return again! Tempted to try another Riu palace but I don’t think I can quit this one."

"We had an amazing stay at the Wyndham resort in Playa del Carmen! From the beautiful property and excellent location to the friendly staff and great service, everything made our vacation truly enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxing, the food was delicious, and we had a wonderful time from start to finish.
