"An excellent stay! Service is top notch. Plenty of food options and entertainment options. Steps away from 5th Avenue. "

"Average all inclusive hotel. Many of the rooms and sections of the resort were under construction. The seaweed on the shore of the beach was so bad you couldn't get in the ocean. Activities were often not at the time scheduled. The water from the shower leaked through to the toilet area and out into the vanity area. The buffet food was decent. Maids came in the room when do not disturb light was on. The Internet was horrible. The website was not easy access to schedule dinners and look up activities. All in all it was a good stay but there is definitely room for improvement. "

"The room and resort was clean. A few members of the staff weren't the most accommodating but I do recognize there was a spring break crowd so that can be frustrating. Of course, most staff members were lovely. It was difficult to get water as you had to ask if you wanted it unless you went up to your room and used those bottles and water in the Grab and Go was only sparkling."

"This was my second visit to Cancun, and I enjoyed AVA Resort much more than the resort I stayed at on my previous trip. One of the best features is that all rooms have an ocean view, which was absolutely beautiful. During our four-night stay, I watched the sunrise every morning, which made the trip even more special. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and both the welcome and departure processes were smooth and well organized. The food was generally good, although the salad selection was a bit limited. The omelet chef at the breakfast buffet was especially friendly and memorable. The drinks, ice cream, and desserts were excellent. The resort offers many pool options for all ages, and we especially enjoyed kayaking. I also appreciated that staff regularly came around the pool to take food and drink orders, which made everything very convenient. The Kids Club was great, offering a variety of activities and water play. My child spent about four hours there, which gave me some relaxing time. There was also evening entertainment every day, including a kids’ show at 7 pm and a show for all guests at 9 pm. The clown show for kids and the American pop singer tribute show were both very entertaining. One small downside was that the return-guest sales offer was presented twice, which felt a bit uncomfortable. Also, some activities like the arcade and laser tag require extra payment. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay."
