"Our stay was very mid. Disappointed about the beaches not being able to be used due to seaweed. Food was a huge hit or miss. Not much going on at the resort. Things closed earlier than advertised. It was a bummer. Staff was mostly friendly but we did encounter some that were not, but not rude."

"This resort was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, the grounds were clean and quiet (with some wildlife that was always fun to see), and we always felt safe and comfortable. Ana at the coffee shop was incredibly sweet and the activities with Jesus, Pilar, and Moses were so fun. The food was also delicious and we never grew tired of anything! It was a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to be back!"

"We love vacationing on the Yucatan Peninsula over the last 15 years. We have stayed at several different resorts, condos, and even an ocean-front villa, but the Princess resort is by far our favorite. We've stayed at the Princess once or twice a year over the last 5 years, and brought family members to enjoy to resort with us. The resort has been doing some needed renovations over the last year and the updated rooms are beautiful. Our only disappointment with the new rooms is they removed the Jacuzzi tubs, which was one of our favorite perks, and replaced them with a nice looking but small bathtub. They also remodeled the restaurants and improved the dining options and experiences. They have several chefs available to cook to order food at the evening buffet. And the staff is always very helpful. We want to thank Francisco, Roberto, Lorenzo, Beatriz, and Angel for making all of our meals a wonderful experience, and also our favorite tram driver Bernie for his excellent service. The only other thing that could have made our vacation better was the beach conditions. The sargassum was really bad, and was piled up in big stinky mounds, so we didn't spend anytime at the beach. I don't know if it's possible for the resort to do something to improve that, but we spent our time enjoying the pools instead. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back to the Princess!"

"Where do I begin? We got scammed by this hotel on day one. When we arrived, the front desk person advised me that there were no king size beds available, even though we had this room booked months in advanced. However, they offered to upgrade up for an additional $620 to a "honey moon suite". When we got to the room, it was the SAME exact room we had booked online. No upgrades, no upgraded liquor bottles, NOTHING! We got SCAMMED.. and when we went to the guest relations department to speak with Raul, he too confirmed it was the same exact room with no upgrades. We asked for our money back and he said no. We are not trying to dispute this with out credit card and it's not going well because we have no proof they did not upgrade us, only our word against moon palaces' word. This set the whole experience off on a bad note. Imagine going on vacation and getting scammed by a place you trust? Sad. The pool was mediocre at best. My friend cut the bottom of her foot on a loose tile in the pool. The pool also closes at 7pm and the outdoor bars close at 6pm??. Forget about aperol spritz, they are constantly out of it. The staff CALL YOU at 8 AM EVERY.. SINGLE... DAY.. trying to sell you upgrades and packages. If you do not answer they will call exactly 30 minutes later. It felt like harassment. The whole stay was dampened at how money hungry the place is. "
