"Our stay at L’Hotel du Lac in Hanoi was wonderful from start to finish. From the moment we checked in until the day we left, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was super friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed.
One thing we really appreciated was how easy it was to exchange money at the hotel. Since many of the shops and small vendors in the area only accept cash, this made things very convenient for exploring the neighborhood.
The location is fantastic. It’s just steps from Hoan Kiem Lake and surrounded by history, shopping, and amazing food options right outside the front door. It made it incredibly easy to walk everywhere and experience the energy of Hanoi.
We also loved the rooftop bar. It had a great atmosphere with plenty of drink options, and Tuesday night game night made it even more fun. Our room on the 12th floor was amazing, very clean, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. The balcony gave us a great view of the city, which was a nice way to start or end the day.
The spa is open most of the day, which is great for travelers, though unfortunately we didn’t have enough time in our schedule to try it.
When it was time for us to leave, the staff truly went above and beyond. Several members of the team walked us out and even gave us a farewell gift, which was such a thoughtful touch.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend L’Hotel du Lac to anyone visiting Hanoi."
