"Highly recommend Melia Casa Maya. The staff are very friendly. The restaurants had very good food. Room service was quick. Drinks were easily accessible. Pool was very nice and beach was fantastic. They have a decently large waterpark which the kids enjoyed. Melia Casa was a smaller hotel, which we really enjoyed. It WAS NOT over crowded and it was easy to get dinner reservations every single night. The hotel was very nice and clean. There was always a walk-up snack bar with lots of food to choose from. There was also a poolside menu from 11am to 4pm which guests can order from and have food delivered right to their lounge chairs. We had a concierge with our package which we really didn't use but she was great to have in a pinch. Shout out to Lily. Shout out to Jafet at the front check-in area, Francisco at the gym, Alexis & Erik at the Bars, the entertainment team and all the other staff which were great. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Great room. The owner is clearly put attention to detail when designing and furnishing this room. The room is full of things you might need. Small things like plenty of USB plugs, kitchen utensils, a large bottle of water. There was even a first aid kit. The attention to detail made it a pleasant place to stay, and I found myself repeatedly being impressed by the room. After checking out, I realized I had lost something. The owner when above and beyond when it came to helping track it down. They even pulled lobby surveillance video from when I checked in to see whether I had walked in with it. This was very much appreciated and it helped narrow down when I had lost the item (I had forgotten it on the plane)."
