Also the nightly sunsets from the elevated deck overlooking Arenal lake were amazing. And all the birds and even monkeys were a great treat to see. “This place is an oasis in the rain forest! Beautiful grounds and the staff and owner were the best! Water taxis and walking is how you get around. Ton's of wildlife and a great experience! I would call it "rustic elegance". Just one item that may bother others is there is no climate control in the rooms. That did not bother us since they all have ceiling fans, but it may be a consideration of some.”
