"The staff was great and the food was good. The restaurants don’t open in the evening as early as we would have liked. The hotel has no elevators so carrying your luggage up the stairs is not fun. There’s 3 floors so hopefully you’re not on the 3rd floor. Several activities throughout the day. The hotel was clean and very helpful if you needed anything. "

"Food is the best. Specually on Thursday night. Pools are rather small but work well. Property is a little outdated but very clean. The coffee shop serves great coffee included. Your staff are friendly. "

"Traveled here in April 2026 and it was sooooo nice. The upkeep on the property is amazing, my husband and I had a great time, good music, staff was beyond amazing, everything was close by, beaches were kept clean and the pool, the food was amazing, I will definitely go back here again!"

"This is my third time at the Royal Hideaway and I do love this resort, as the food at all the restaurants is delicious and the staff are wonderful but we did encounter a few problems. We did not have hot water in our room unless we ran the shower for sometimes as long as 30 minutes. The staff came to fix it but the only solution was to turn on the hot water and let it run until it got hot. I was not the only guest who had this problem. In order to get a lounge chair at the pool you had to get up very early otherwise they were all reserved or claimed by someone as early as 6:30 am. Other than these two issues I had a wonderful time. What makes this place special is the wonderful and friendly staff."

"This is a phenomenal wellness retreat resort. It’s a top notch facility with fantastic food, wonderful staff, excellent wellness activities (yoga, breathing exercises, workshops etc). It’s unbelievably clean. Really a strong 10/10"

"Property is old and inside the rooms is not well care switches wifi shower are in rough shape, activities need to be more focused on the mexican traditions more cultural music Corridos mariachis and all that type of shows to entertain the guest. Staff is very attentive and cooperative "
