"All employees were extremely polite, There are plenty of pool loungers to choose from during the day, there always something happening around the pool, but you can still enjoy just relaxing All the food we had was delicious!"

"This is a good resort; it's not extravagant but it is a good value. We had a great one-week stay, a clean room, helpful & friendly staff, and the pools were all awesome. Food was typical all-inclusive quality, but we experienced one bad meal at the Steakhouse, our Ribeye steaks were poor, the waiter forgot our appetizers, and it was a less than pleasurable experience. We had Prime Rib meal at the Blue Moon although there was a premium price for that one, but well worth the price. The service was over the top, which simply made a great meal even better. The other restaurants were all pretty good. The Sakura, Margarita, and Amaranto were all exceptional. The facilities were clean and well-kept, but we did have a wobbly handrail at our swim-up pool room. Our daughter stayed in a different section, and they complained that their air conditioning never got very cold. All in all, I'd give it a strong 4-out-of-5, and it would have been a 5 if not for one bad meal and a few other things not necessary to mention."

"Great experience in this hotel, Staff was great they definitely make the difference, restaurants in the property have tasty food and availability is a plus you will be able to find food at any time of the day and the staff there is great 10/10. Location of the property is great if you plan to visit the Xcaret parks, Very family friendly. The property don't have a beach but a small "Caleta" that is perfect with close bar and buffet restaurant you will be able to drink, swim and eat in the same area"

"This was our first time at this result and we had an amazing time. We stayed for five days and definitely did not see everything at the property. We ate at a different restaurant every night and the food here is not what you would expect from an all-inclusive it is amazing! We are definitely coming back."

"We stayed at the Valentin Imperial Rivera Maya from May 13-20. This was our second stay at this resort. It's a short ride from the Cancun airport, so you don't waste much time or expense on transportation from the airport. There's no high-pressure sales when you arrive. The grounds are probably the prettiest of any resort we've seen! Beautiful blend of natural and manicured landscaping. The thoughtful layout of the pools lets you feel isolated, without balconies of people looking down into the pool area, which I really like. You will feel surrounded by tropical gardens, not buildings. The staff, including entertainment staff, are friendly, helpful, and competent in their roles. The restaurants are very good, our favorites are the French, Mexican, and Italian. The waitstaff are willing to help make great selections when you're unsure. There is one pickleball court, so you can bring your paddles or borrow some from the lobby, but finding extra players might be challenging. The ONLY thing I'll mention that is less than amazing, is the room furnishings could use a refresh. All daily services are excellent, including room service, maid service, and mini bar refresh. I called room service each night to order coffee delivered to my room each morning, and they were always right on time with hot coffee. Chair saving is a thing there, but it seems to be at all resorts, and it's not overcrowded, so you CAN find a spot even if it isn't right where you dreamed of being. Great resort!"
